The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Communications Division is located at 8473 County Home Road. This division is a multi faceted dispatching center, which provides services to the County Sheriff’s Office, Five Township Fire Departments and Seven Township and Local Police Agencies. This division is the contact point for any emergency involving the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Plant. 911 emergency calls are received and disbursed through this division also.

The staff is trained in the Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS), National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and emergency response techniques necessary to provide accurate and immediate information to the law enforcement officers serving our county.

The Communications Division is committed to assisting the citizens of Columbiana County and take pride in the prompt and courteous manner that this commitment is carried out. With the use of the Emergency Broadcasting System, Amber Alert, the future enhanced 911-system and state of the art technology this Division will continue to provide the emergency service county residents expect and deserve.
